We were absolutely thrilled with our micro-wedding at the Manor House Inn in Norfolk, CT. The micro wedding package was thoughtfully designed and included everything we could have hoped for - a beautiful intimate ceremony, lovely decorations, a cocktail hour with a custom signature cocktail, an incredible five-course plated dinner, an overnight stay for us as the couple, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Every corner of the Manor House Inn has a personal touch, and the heart of the people hosting our experience beat throughout the space. We received a warm welcome and introduction to the space, and our room was more beautiful than the website photos captured.||Just five minutes away, there was a terrific hike that filled our breaths with fresh air and was a walk through winter wonderland on fresh snow in a forest. We had a cosy, yummy dinner with friends at a Mediterranean restaurant in nearby Winsted. Many of the guests gathered in the Manor House Inn’s downstairs communal areas to be merry after dinner time, our crew taking up the study to play games. Lovely property and setting for our wedding weekend. Having the whole house was really great! I say it’s about the people because the innkeeper, Blair, created warmth and hospitality beyond expectations. 💗 I didn’t want to say goodbye at the end of the weekend. Blair and her husband Fell catered our rehearsal dinner. Everything was perfect and it was so nice to have that time with our closest family. We especially loved the amazing charcuterie board and the breakfast service. There were so many special touches throughout the weekend.

I recently spent the weekend here with my wife and all I can say is it was absolutely perfect!! Fell and Blair are amazing and make you feel like you are old friends. The property is like stepping back to the gilded age and is perfectly maintained. The area is great for all types of activities both indoor and out. The included breakfast was delicious and perfectly prepared. We will be returning to this gem of a getaway as often as possible.
