Main Street Hotel

The hotel and food were really great! Super clean rooms! My first room smelled a little of cigarettes and they were quick to let me move to a new room that smelled great. Definitely recommend, thank you!!!

Wandering around Alaska for 15 days this summer with my son. ||||Ended up in Kenai ... the Main Street Hotel has a fairly priced room and a place to eat inside. ||||Turns out, the best bed and food for our dollar so far on this trip. Family run, Hannah (mom) even connected us to her son (James) to show is the way and place for Salmon fishing. ||||What a treat, what cool folks; who does that anymore for out of town visitors ? ||||Alaskans ... that’s who !||||They are still happy and proud to show off the unique and friendly quality of life they enjoy.||||I’m sincerely appreciative to the family who owns and operates the Main Street Hotel & Tap & Grill for their personal hospitality.||||They even cooked a Salmon we caught today ... with their son no less. ||||I mean really folks... who doe

I found the Main Street Hotel to be awesome. My room was immaculate, clean and very comfortable. I cannot even begin to praise the staff at both the hotel and the attached Main Street Tap & Grill. Great people, great food, great service and a friendly crowd.

I absolutely loved this place. I arrived really early and I was accommodated with an early check in. The owner is so lovely. She is the type of person you just want to drink a beer with. I could hear her stories all night. This place is close to great Whale watching. She helped me all throughout my stay. I will only stay here from now on when I’m in Kenai. The bar attached has great beer and burgers too. I highly recommend staying here

I know it seems strange to give a five star review to what is basically the Bates Motel, but this place has earned every one. Quiet, comfortable, convenient. It is definitely old, but there is nothing negative to say. The people could not have been nicer. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is really no reason to stay anywhere else. The bar and grill that is attached is great. Sports on TVs everywhere, excellent food, and dang good drinks.
