Magnolia Inn Laurens

Service is excellent. Rooms are very clean. But some come here to argue and fight very loudly ! Some people don't know how to act in public.

Very friendly. Nice couple that not only greets you with a smile, they tell you anything you want to know from best places to din to details of the history of the hotel. If you have vision problems, they don't mind helping with that. The rooms are very nice but could use a little upgrade here or there. A coffee machine and coffee packs in all rooms would be nice. And bars in bathrooms for handicapped people like myself. But all else is very good.

Mrs June and Larry have worked hard to make and keep this motel family friendly. The house keeper is very friendly and works beyond hard to maintain some of the cleanest rooms you'll ever see. It's no five star Hilton but for the class and size of the motel, it's definitely amongst the top.

I don't know where these positive reviews are coming from but this isn't one. I am/was in Laurens for 7 weeks on assignment as a long term sub at a local school. Magnolia Inn is one of 3 hotels in town. They offer a reasonable weekly rate for workers, which I am, thankfully otherwise it's 500 bucks. I had to be switched to another room because the shower didn't work properly. It smells like weed all the time in my room and I don't smoke it. The owner instructs the housekeeper, who is great by the way, to turn the air off during the day so when I return from work it is smoldering hot. She also has to clean in the heat. According to the awful manager it is to save that 160 dollars a week I would pay if not a worker. It would not save that much. The manager is terrible. She is so rude. She d

This place is a dump and our room was awful the bed was not changed it had bugs crawling on it thank God for bug spray and spare sheets I had with us. The door wouldn't lock unless you picked up on it a waste of money but when your tired you deal with it I guess. They need to have who ever is running the front to wear cloths instead of night gown with no bra..come on you work with the public no one wants to see all of that!🤬🤬🤬🤬
