Madeira Norte

Just finished a week at Madiera Norte. Stayed in #407. Pros: nice updated condo, clean, no bugs, large balcony. Added bonus: there were some games and cards in the drawer for the rainy night we had. Cons: beds are at the end of their lifespan. A/C had to be kept to 72 or higher. That wasn't as bad as it may seem, except I do like to sleep with it cooler. Important to Note, you can get around without a car (we did) but having a car makes it easier to hit the grocery and restaurants further away from John's Pass. Definitely would stay here again!

If you're looking for a beautiful view, this is the place. What it has in views and easy access to the beach and Johns Pass, it does lack in updated rooms and comfortable beds/pillows. Service, however, was prompt and friendly. For the money, we would stay here again.

My family & I booked a vacation at the Madeira Norte from July 5 -July 14th.It was absolutely the worst vacation ever. The pool was shut down on July 7th by the health department due to failure to comply since march. Never did they disclose when booking. That the pool may be closed. Due to not being in compliance. We had to drive 30 minutes away to North shore pool for my grandchildren to swim. We asked a gentleman that works there. If the pool was being closed had anything to do with chemicals. He responded with no not at all. Which was a lie He didn't know I already knew why the pool was closed .. I'll attach the pictures of the order from the health department to close the pool and the gentleman that lied to my face. The pool had 0 chlorine , no updated pool rules, and uncompleted fenc

Great location and they keep the grounds in tip top shape. Say, “Hi”to Butter Ball for me if you visit. Enjoy the sun too!

We stayed here for Christmas. Post hurricane, the poor town is struggling! Glad we could bring some dollars in for you folks ! The locals are playing live music every night, and the shops and restaurants are eager for the visitors.
