Lumbermens Inn

This is a modest motel with a great location. I was incredibly surprised by how friendly management and staff were to my family during our stay. Lumberman’s want to run a business and are welcoming. A small home town feeling. This is not what it was when I was 8 years old coming up to enjoy the great northern outdoors, but happy to have it here today. It is literally right on the corridor for ATV fun with plenty of parking for your machines. We stayed for part of the hunting season and the rooms are larger than what you would normally see in a motel. We had plenty of space to store gear and hang clothes. Booked 2 days and everything was fine...UNTIL, we came back from breakfast on our day of checkout. Arrived back at the hotel at 9:30 am, to find our room door open and EVERYTHING gone!! Eric explained that housekeeping had come in early?? Checkout listed at 11 am. We didn't return our key cards to the front desk!! He showed us our phones and chargers that were removed from our room!! Toothbrush and toothpaste was thrown away! 2 bottles of water removed from the refrig! To make amttere WORSE was the ERIC opened my phone and went thru my last calls and called one to tell them that if they knew me to contact me that I had left my phone and charger at the hotel!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Spent 3 nights here to do some snowmobiling. Plenty of truck/trailer parking. The location is great and right on the trails, with gas across the street and food and drinks within walking distance (2 blocks). Very friendly staff, rooms were clean and the price was very fair. Will stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago. It was dismal, dirty and the room had an ant invasion. We heard they had new management and was remodeled. Took a chance and checked in. AMAZING transformation! Hotel was inviting, room was clean and accommodating and no bugs. We will be back. I would have given it a 5* if there had been a continental breakfast.

Nice clean rooms close to the event we were attending .Doors lock at 9pm with key entrance only and phone number to call if you forgot your key to get in safe place.
