Camping 20 plus years with my family I feel like I have experienced most everything you can at a campground. But was disappointed to say that the KOA in East Ludington was an experience I’d like to forget. The facilities were fine, campsites nice but the service was rude and intrusive. The person who checked us in, Michelle, made us feel unwelcome from the moment we checked in until we left. She made it her mission to “keep an eye” on our campsite and was intimidating to our son, daughter and her friend who were camping with us. She questioned them about how many people were staying in our camper and how old they were. It was uncomfortable and she let them know she was watching. Sorry that is unacceptable and if we had to many staying in our camper let me know don’t stalk us and questio

First time here, we stayed for four nights, we had a very enjoyable time. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, from Michelle to Dennis and the young adults running the activities. Communication was very good as well, would text to let us know when activitie would start as well as when they had to be cancelled. We stayed at a swing site, we loved it especially at night. Pool was very clean. Bathrooms were clean and showers were spacious and clean as well. Is definitely a campground to come back to.

My camper's wheel bearing failed just as I rolled into the KOA on Friday night on late September. The staff were so helpful and lent me tools to remove the broken Torflex axle. They also let me store the camper for a couple of weeks until I could drive up with a new axle to take the camper home. We love this KOA and we have been coming here every fall for salmon fishing on the Pere Marquette River. Thank you !

This was a last minute booking for my husband and I and our two dogs. We normally stay somewhere pretty remote so the dogs can run wild. ||||I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The weather this weekend was supposed to have a lot of thunderstorms in the forescast so it kept a lot of people away. For being on a campground the cabins were private enough and still gave us a feeling of being remote (lack of visitors helped!)||||Owners and staff were very accommodating. ||||Firewood and linen rental is definitely expensive. Bring your own towels and blankets to save some $$. You will pay 2-3 times on wood what it would cost to bring your own. ||||Overall very happy and enjoyed our time. Cabins and ground seemed brand new! Queen bed was very comfortable.

Michelle in the camp store was rude. My camper site reservation says up to 8 people so when my kids made a purchase in the camp store Michelle questioned them on how many people were on my site. When told don’t know that made her more mad. She then called me out when I stopped in stating “your kids ratted you out” wow….. poor costumer service. Was treated like a thief. Had friends staying in a cabin so they said 2 of us could stay with them for no extra charge. At check out Michelle stated that 2 of us didn’t stay in the cabin because they were watching us…. Super creepy to find out we were being spied on all weekend! Also toilet in women’s bathroom not working and the other one didn’t have toilet paper. Also no soap in women’s bathroom. Every single thing you do there is an extra charg
