My favorite place ! Years of family trips.
Priced right. Most spots will accommodate a trailer. Bears roam here. Not a good place for cats unless they are property trained.
This is one of our favorite places to camp along Highway 395. Just out of Bridgeport a little bit. There is no water or trash service, but there are Vault toilets. They've always had room for us here, but it could be full on weekends. A real gem of a little campground!
This is no longer a campground. People didn't appreciate the place. The forest service got tired of removing all the trash people dumped here so they just permanently locked the gate.
See Upper Virginia Creek Primitive Campground. I love it up here. Great fishing beautiful views. There are a few more sites in this campground.
