Love Hotels on Silver Street at Hurley WI

This place is a literal scam. Do not book a hotel here. They were not open when I arrived, and the company is refusing to give me any money back. On top of that, it was free cancelations, so the money should be refunded no matter the reason. Unless......you are a scam! FOLLOW UP. I have emailed your company SEVERAL times and this was how they responded each time. Because it is always the same response, I suspect you scam a lot of people. "Hello Mike, Hope you are doing well! We regret to inform you that, following validation with the property, they have denied the refund. However, we are unable to help you with a refund

This place was an absolute joke, nobody at the front desk, office was locked, the phone number went unanswered over a period of two days. Several of us couldn't verify our reservations. Several other guests were locked out of there are rooms with all of their belongings inside, and couldn't get in touch with anyone associated with the property this was in the evening and also the next morning. I contacted Expedia which did my booking, they had no luck getting through to a proprietor. It's hard to believe a motel has guests staying there and not a single representative on site or able to be contacted over a two-day period over the holidays. Do NOT stay here!

I had a three night stay booked on Expedia over the holiday week. I went to check in at 5:00 p.m. and the office was locked with a number posted that went straight to voicemail. It didn't take me long to realize other guests were also frustrated, one was actually locked out of his room and could not get in contact with anyone to help him get back inside to retrieve his wallet and car keys.|After an hour of waiting and calling, a nice gentleman (he identified himself as a resident of a unit at the motel, after recently being released from jail) recommended I choose a room with an open door, because several of them were unlocked and had a key on sitting the counter. I called the number listed on website attempting to get a local phone number. The guy on the other line would not give a number. He transferred me to the hotel and no one picked up. Then I attempted to get the room price from the website. It automatically booked a room. I had to again call the # listed on website. Then had to get transferred twice to confirm that the booking had been canceled with no fee. Terrible customer service! Would NEVER stay there just because of the frustrations with customer service!

Positive: It was a good price Negative: We did not even get in the room we prepaid for. The lobby was closed and no one would answer the phone for check in. I contacted the hotel chain office and they couldn't get us in either. Might get a refund.
