Days Inn by Wyndham Hurley

This is the second year I’ve stayed here on a Nordic ski trip to ABR. I stay five nights during the week and have really enjoyed it. I should mention that I shop around and get a great price, which may affect my overall impression. It’s a great place with clean, comfortable rooms and an okay breakfast. The breakfast is more substantial on weekends, but during the week it was a bit skimpy since there were fewer guests. All the staff are friendly, and I felt at home—it really has that “up north,” small-town feel. I will definitely be back again next year. It’s hard to beat with a pool, sauna, and hot tub (though the hot tub was out of order during my stay this time). All small problems were handled proptly.

I chose this hotel because my family were going to the porcupine mountain state park, we stayed this hotel for one night, when i reviewed the hotel online, i see they have hot tub and pool, but after we checked in and went to the pool, first of all, the hot tub is out of order, upset, then we swim for a while, we feel cold, hopping to enjoy in sauna room, BUT its not working either, trying to inform the front desk, was told, he couldn't do anything....very easily to tell, he didn't even want to try to help, you can tell the poor work attitude there. Will never go back to this hotel, there are so many choices in the area, and will not recommend this one to anyone.

Positive: "" Negative: The nightly rate is outrageous. Front desk says they don’t do daily room clean up since Covid. I requested it at $-- per night I want my bed made and fresh towels.

Night staff was who I interacted with and they were very helpful. Clean! The hot tub pools very clean. Room was very small. Probably only complaint, besides caddy am staff talking loudly vulgar within guest ears (kids) and smoking.

We just recently stayed here 2 nights to enjoy the area activities. The hotel is in a great location (minutes away from Ironwood), a grocery store, rest stop, and Dairy Queen all right there. We got the king size business room. The room was clean and nicely updated. The bathroom is a little on the small size, but the shower included full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The breakfast was good, we absolutely loved the waffle station (some of the best waffles we’ve ever had). The hotel is all around dog friendly and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They complimented our dogs every chance they got. I would absolutely stay here again.
