Los Feliz Hotel

Just the facts Positive: Location close to food, activities Negative: Run down Not clean, there was moldy takeout in the microwave from the previous occupant. Towel were not clean Water in shower would scald you if water was used in other parts of the "hotel". Air conditioner would overheat and not be usable. Call themselves a hotel but definitely a motel. Price was definitely too high for this quality of a place, even for Los Angeles. Overall opinion, find somewhere else to stay!

This motel has about 8 units and sits right on the corner of Los Feliz Blvd. Rooms are fairly large. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom OK, had no towels in my room when I arrived.||||There is constant traffic noise, cars, sirens, motorcycles, and to add to it, a train goes by regularly. No elevator so if on 2nd floor you have to drag your luggage up the steps.||||Has a refrigerator and microwave. No hair dryers. Stains on carpet.||||||Non responsive management. Don’t answer phone when you call during the day and don’t check voice mail. I received a call 2 days after I left from a voice-mail I had left.||||Loud music one night until 3:15 AM in the morning. No one to report it to because manager arrives at 11:30 AM and departs around 10:30 PM.||||I do not recommend staying at this hotel

One night stay while traveling thru LA trucking , very happy with quality of room and courtesy / help from staff . Good value , clean room , firm mattress , quiet , no rude loud neighbors this particular night . Went to Griffith park/ Observatory , Very close proximity and very short uber ride over there. After Griffith I went to eat , there are many , many dining options available nearby. It's a very nice , safe neighborhood. You can walk around and enjoy a great LA vibe . .I felt very safe walking around alone in this area..This is a good place to visit, great area of L.A. , and NOT overly expensive , I will return

I booked a room here theough booking.com. I showed up at 1PM and was told i would need to return at 4PM. When I returned at 4PM I was told they rented the room to someone else for a better rate. I was still charged for the room and have not received a refund. When i call booking they tell me to contact the hotel and when i call the hotel they tell me I need to contact booking.com. Worst experience ever.
