I am very disappointed in the management of this place. We booked a glamping site back in May for the end of July, we canceled our reservations 5 days after booking and almost 3 months before our reservation started and all they can say is it is policy to charge for one nights stay. I feel we gave more than enough time for some consideration in their "policy". like a straight fee of the 35.00 for a site versus a glamping site. To be told to basically to get lost and we don't care about your business. Not cool! Further more we couldn't cancel any earlier.....THEY DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE! Not that it matters...3 months isn't enough notice to cancel apparently, they would rather charge ungodly amounts of money to customers when they didn't loose any money with our early cancelation!!

Sad Decline of What Used to Be a Family Tradition My family camped at Loon’s Haven for over 40 years, across four generations. It used to be one of the best parts of our summers — friendly people, a welcoming atmosphere, and real family values. We decided to stop by recently to see how it’s changed since the early 2000s, and wow… it’s like a completely different place. Whatever management runs it now has turned it into one of the most unfriendly and uptight campgrounds in Maine. From the moment we arrived, we were yelled at repeatedly to “slow down” — despite the fact that we were literally doing 5 mph (maybe 8 going downhill). Apparently, they have no idea what 5 mph actually looks like unless you’re getting out and pushing your car. It’s ridiculous. Instead of feeling welcome, we fel

Rented the main lodge. It was spotless. This place has everything you need except the campground store closes at 5pm right about the time you are getting back from daily activities and heading back to your site. I wish the store stayed open a little later. The lodge had 4 bedrooms, TVs in every most rooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry room, a huge kitchen and giant driveway. Also an onsite gas grill and fire pit. Plenty of lawn furniture to sit on and the kitchen was fully loaded. No need to bring cooking or eating utensils.

Love this cozy campground. This trip was our second year and we love the vibe. Loons singing. Friendly faces. Cozy glamping sites. Very Maine, very peaceful. Great place to get away.

Gorgeous sunsets, dinners on the deck. Very quiet and relaxing. The dogs enjoyed the walks! We really had a great time!!!
