Loon Point Resort

Loon Point Resort was pure perfection for our family. This fall time we needed a place close to our family’s hunting shack but did not want to stay in Grand Rapids or Hibbing. Gorgeous location! The owners have a great eye in detail from the landscape to the email reservation reminders to the comforts of home in the Cabins. Sherrie always responded to my emails and questions same day. I appreciated that she was flexible with our arrival check in and supplying a pack&play for our baby. The beds were comfy, and the pillows were quality. Our kids were tempted with the lake and begged to come back in the summertime, and I am sure we will plan that trip!

What a Lovley resort with great owners! so friendly and helpful. Wonderful cabin/lodge that accommodated our big family and was so beautiful and comfortable. Great beach and all the fun toys for the grandkids. We would |defiantly visit again!

The cabin I stayed in was absolutely beautiful. That classy log cabin look and feel with all the modern luxuries of a 5 star hotel. All with a stunning view of the lake. I’ve stayed in cabins at dozens of MN resorts over the years - this one tops them all!

Great resort!!! This is our 3rd year there! Great location, Great lake and good sized fish out there and owners Sherry and John are very friendly and accommodating. And the chipmunks are so adorable! We even had a skunk come visit.

We are here on our mini-moon, and it is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and get gorgeous views of the Fall colors. Sherrie and John are the ultimate hosts, and with it being less than 4 hours from the Cities, it’s the perfect weekend getaway. Highly recommend!
