Lone Cedar Cabins

Wonderful weekend stay! Perfect to relax and unwind or to stay and go sight-seeing. Plenty of beautiful things to see and travel to from here. North, South, East, West, it's a great central spot to head off from. Close enough to the Ouachita National Forest, Hot Springs, Mt Ida, DeGray Lake State Park just to name a few! The cabin we stayed in was so thoughtfully curated and cozy inside and out. You could tell the owners have put in a lot of heart, love and respect for the land, cabin and into your stay. We didn't have time to hike their trails, but the walk to the pond was my daughter's favorite in the mornings. We wanted to bbq burgers one night and to our surprise, they had everything to get the BBQ going, chimney, tools, all right there. Dry firewood under the cabin deck even. Oh and t

We stayed right after Christmas and had the best time! The kids loved the loft and the hill top climb! Freckles the dog was so sweet and my kids loved visiting with her. We hope to come back and spend more time here! Absolutely recommend!

My husband and I stayed at one of Gabe and Dawns cabins for our anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! Such a cozy and peaceful area! Would highly recommend and definitely plan to visit again.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my sister, we wanted a short weekend trip up to Hot Springs National Park and this cabin was absolutely perfect! Close enough to the spots we wanted to visit, but tucked away enough to enjoy some real rest & relaxation. The cabin itself is well-appointed and cozy, and the surrounding property is beautifully woodsy and serene. We especially enjoyed walking along the nature trail with Freckles the dog as our guide! Gabe & Dawn are incredibly welcoming and helpful hosts. They gave us some great local recommendations and overall made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely recommend staying with them, and hope to venture out to Arkansas again for another trip to the Lone Cedar Cabin!

I could fill several pages with how great the cabins are and how much I recommend them, but I’ll leave my review simple: last weekend, we wrapped up our SIXTH year of staying at Lone Cedar. That’s all you need to know. Great place to unplug and relax and get some solitude away from the hustle and bustle.
