DeGray Lake State Park Resort

Liz checked us in to Room 208 – down the hall from the front desk.|Seems to be a two story place.||Lodge has a kitchen - pool (which we didn't know until we left), and a a great store.||First night -- we ordered Coconut shrimp and a dessert from the kitchen for a late night snack. Wasn’t good at all. We should have known better than to order before they closed. ||Third night of our stay -- we ordered a carry-out meal of quesadilla and lava cake. The lava cake tasted like they heated it up on a bed meat or spices.||As it was 112-heat index we asked to extend for 2 more days --- and they allowed us to stay. Which was excellent.||Parking: Free paved lot|Lounge: Great open area|Room: Excellent. Cool A/C, clean sheets||Would recommend: Highly|Would re-patronize: Most definitely

We try to make this a stop on road trips when traveling along I-30. It's not far off freeway & great alternative to a hotel: beautiful lake and woods bring calm & relaxation after a day of driving. Rooms are large and comfortable. Dining on site so you don't have to get back in the car to go get something to eat. Friendly service & staff

We had a great stay here for a business trip. The staff was absolutely awesome. The food was great. They do not have a full bar so if you're looking for that you will have to drive to into the city. Maybe Hot Springs

We are visiting during the off season so its very quiet with plenty of fall leaves! The rooms are a nice size beds are good. The restaurant is good!

Yurt 1 and 2 pretty close and 3 at end of the road a little more private. One outlet and one light inside. All parked close to water and can park boat on bank easily. I don't recommend during very hot times of the year due to no ac. Very nice and fun family experience. Ps bathrooms need a bike or car to get to theyre about 200 yards away
