Loews Hollywood Hotel

The hotel is in a great location. Right behind Hollywood walk of fame, perfect! Hotel room was clean, however for a 5 star hotel and the fee charged, we don’t find it value for money. Parking next door at Ovation is $25 daily max for single entry, alternatively hotel valet parking is $60 per day for multiple entries.

Loews Hollywood Hotel delivered a great stay right in the heart of all the action. The location alone is a win, steps from the Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, and plenty of food and people‑watching. It’s the kind of spot where you walk out the front door and instantly feel the buzz of Hollywood. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable. My room was clean, spacious, and had that modern‑classic Loews vibe. The bed? Super comfortable. The views? Iconic. There’s something fun about waking up and seeing the Hollywood sign peeking out in the distance. The amenities were solid the rooftop pool area is a standout, especially if you want a break from the crowds without leaving the property. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the lobby bar had a great energy in the evenings

Overall good experience. I could not give 5 stars because I don't think the resort fee is justified and there was an issue with our room. What I liked: fluffy warm bathrobes, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, comfy beds, room ready for early check-in, ability to text for hotel services, excellent location. What I didn't like: |We booked through Expedia a King standard room inputting that we were a party of 2 adults and 1 teenager. The description said occupancy 3 instead of "sleeps 2 with max occupancy of 3". We had assumed a sofa bed when we see occupancy 3. When we checked in we were told all of us would have to sleep in the king bed. BUT we could upgrade to a room with a sofa bed for another $50USD per night. We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a really lovely experience. The gentleman at the reception was incredibly sweet and kindly gave us a room with a view of the Hollywood Sign, which made our stay extra special. Overall, the staff here are genuinely warm and welcoming. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only minor downside was that the washroom felt a bit outdated, but it was still well maintained. We decided to try the breakfast buffet, which was not included in our reservation, and paid around $45–50 per person. It was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious with a great variety of options. The chef was preparing fresh omelets for guests, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. I was extremely pleased with my week-long stay at the hotel. I found all of the hotel personnel I had contact with to be personable, extremely helpful and attentive. The skirt steak in the H2 Bar and Restaurant was superb and the breakfast every morning in Preston's Restaurant was outstanding. Maribel was a wonderful server in the Preston's Restaurant and made me feel like a member of her family. A great hotel just a block from Hollywood Boulevard, right in the middle of downtown Hollywood. I could see the Capitol Records building and the Griffith Observatory easily from my room window.
