Lodge by The Blue

This is an older lodge that is in need of repair. The website says there is a store on site and a restaurant. The restaurant is gone and we could never find a store. It is several miles from Breckenridge but there is a bus stop at the end if the driveway. If you are just looking for a place to shower and crash after a day of skiing or hiking this may fit the bill, but if you are looking for luxury, this isn’t it. This lodge’s rooms are in need of repair, but the beds were comfortable and the water hat and the water pressure was great.

It’s an outdated place to stay.||The positives: Has a kitchen and everything works. Easily sleeps 6 people, King bed and two queen beds. Everything was clean. Towel service on Monday and Wednesday is great. 3 full bathrooms. Old TV with direct TV in each room. Has a small deck that you can enjoy sun and look at the mountain. Individual thermostat in each room. ||The Bad:|Pool is closed indefinitely.|Restaurant closed.|Can’t enjoy the fireplace because it’s required to start fire but no staff on site.|If you need some laundry soap or need something from mini-mart, not happening, no staff on site.|Only 1 tread mill works|Bring your own ping pong balls since the ones we found were laying on the floor of the chained up restaurant.||Overall: If you couldn’t care less about pool, resta

The location is nice and the room itself is okay. I wish I had read all of the reviews before staying here because I would not have booked here. We reserved the condo for a week and left after 3 days it was that bad! The Internet does not work, there are zero and I mean zero amenities that are in working order. There is no service on site. It was an awful experience and I would not recommend staying here to anyone!!

This place was a huge disappointment. There is absolutely no staff, and you have to check yourself in if you’re given the right numbers for the keypad. The place is filthy, dark, and actually quite creepy. It was so hot in there and no way to cool it off. We lasted about two hours and headed into town and got a hotel. I know it’s hard to believe, but there is absolutely no staff there and absolutely not a single soul around. Do not trust Global Connections and do not stay in this place. It is horrendous. The sad thing is, we paid ahead of time and Global refuses to give our money back, no matter what the situation is. I don’t know who’s putting the good reviews out there but trust me it is not a good place to stay. Believe the bad reviews when you see them.

It's in the process of a remodel. The room was nice and spacious. Very dark hallway. Beautiful views and a hiking trail across the street. There isn't any staff on site but the general manager communicated through text message and was helpful.
