Little River Inn

Loved Tucker. He actually had a book with a reference to a long lost relative from the 1780's. Great location as well!

My husband and I needed a quiet night away to celebrate our anniversary and loved staying at the Little River Inn. The grounds include a quaint patio, antiques, fireplaces. It was homey with friendly co-habitants for the delicious breakfast. Every room was fascinating and cozy. We really loved the extra service and support from the innkeepers who went out of their way to care for a few special needs. One word of caution during the visiting the surrounding countryside, don't try riding your bicycles down the local highways but do enjoy the mill and vineyards.

Tucker is an incredible host. So appreciated his attentiveness and generosity. I thoroughly enjoyed a private tour of some of his antique collections. I never told him that my beloved lab was named Tucker which made staying at the inn all the more significant! Highly recommend room #2 with private bath.

This little inn was the perfect refuge from the winter storm we had last night. We had left a job site and it was not safe enough to drive an hour+ home. We called Little River Inn and Tucker had a place for us to stay, we got great sleep, and had an absolutely lovely breakfast. I don’t even like coffee and I loved his coffee! The donkeys were also so sweet and Tucker gave us carrots to feed them. Tucker is a fantastic host and I would gladly stay here again!

This is such a lovely corner of the world! The owners have been part of the community for over 40 years, and are actively involved in the historic preservation of Aldie, and the surrounding area. They are wonderfully hospitable, and offer a wealth of historic and community knowledge, with recommendations for local activities and sight-seeing. Walking into the inn is like entering their home, and simultaneously stepping back into another era of charm and grace. It's a truly special place. The homemade meals, fresh spring water, and comfortable space are just an added perk to a truly delight respite.
