I don’t like to leave bad reviews. I really don’t. But folks, this stay at the Lighthouse Inn was a disaster. A total disaster. The room? Nothing like the pictures. Theres two sides and they only show "the nice side" when you book. No parking. None. I’ve seen better room presentation at roadside motels that charge half the price. The toilet barely worked — you flush and you pray. Not good. The shower had mold. Mold! We’re talking not subtle, not hidden — very visible, very nasty. And the smell in the room? Terrible. Just terrible. Like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. They advertise charm and comfort. What we got was dirty and outdated. Sad! We actually had to leave and ate the money we spent on the room and booked across the street because it was that bad. When you pay go

We are local residents that take staycation nights typically @FMB. Stayed many different places in the 12+ years we have lived here. Probably the best room and best experience. Staff A+Room A+ Location A+|Atmosphere A+Value A+ Cleanliness A+ |QualityA+|Very large 1 bd ste, 2queens, kitchenette, pull out sofa in living area, small round glass table for eating in, nice size bathroom, closet and dresser and nightstand for “stuff”, decent size TV’s in each room, 4th Floor oversized terrace balcony overlooking the new pool. Could see slight view of G of A. Food for dinner twice in their restaurant/bar and breakfast. Bartenders were efficient, friendly, and helpful. Reasonably priced, quick and delicious. |Parking could be a challenge (patience is a virtue.) Only real negatives: have to get ice

My lovely lady and I had an absolutely awesome time at The Lighthouse Resort Hotel in Fort Myers Beach! The atmosphere was lively from start to finish — the place was jumping with great energy and good people. The highlight for us was the classic rock cover band that had everyone singing along and dancing under the lights. Huge shoutout to bartender Tracy, who kept the drinks flowing and the vibe perfect all night. Between the music, great service, and fun crowd, this spot really captures that laid-back Florida beach spirit. Can’t wait to come back!

The Good: * Close to the beach * Old Florida vibe (which we loved) * Had an issue with our rooms floors (see pictures) and were immediately moved. We were grateful for that * The second (newer) pool was amazing! The Bad: * The music from the Tiki bar from 7-11 every night was ridiculously loud!! * There’s was no disclosure before booking that loud music (sometimes sung by drunk people) would be part of the experience * Did I mention the music was WAY too loud?!? * Multiple people smoking outside their rooms * This place seems to draw people
