Libra Hotel

I've stayed here twice in the past few months and it was great both times. I don't spend a lot of time at a hotel, I just need a place to sleep and take a shower and this place is perfect. The rooms are nice and a good size. The staff has been pleasant. The area seems safe and walkable, public transportation is close. I didn't drive either time so I don't know about the parking. The lobby is here is REALLY cool; its big and art deco like this used to be an apartment building. It think this place is great.

The double bed was a bit small. There was a fan and a microwave in the room, making it convenient for heating up food. The bathroom faucet couldn't be removed to rinse; it sprayed all over. The soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear what the neighbors were saying, including what country they were speaking. It was quiet at night, but a bit dark. I had to carry my luggage upstairs.

The hotel had a great location, close walk to all of the K-town nightlife and food and walking distance to the Metro subway station. The parking situation looked bleak, but I didn't use it. The room itself was huge! It even had a walk-in closet, and a huge restroom. Plenty of space for luggage and to walk around. It had everything you'd expect, nothing fancy but it was clean and I slept like a baby. Good choice for travelers who won't be in the room all day and need a nice and convenient place to stay in Koreatown.

A decent budget option. Basic but comfortable with convenient parking. I was very grateful for the new air conditioner in the room staving off the LA heat. ||Sunny was friendly and always ready to help.

there was no hot water at all for showering. no blankets were provided so me and my friends had to use sheets as our blankets. also i got mites (bugs) from here... itched for weeks with bites all over my body so I had to laundry / disinfectant everything. also there is no receptionist
