Liberty Lake RV Campground

I’ve stayed here multiple times and will always choose this campground when I’m in town. After reading some of these negative reviews, I genuinely feel for the employees who have to deal with certain guests. One reviewer even came back a full year later to update their review—apparently the campground’s calm, professional response didn’t match their need for the last word. That alone is pretty telling. Complaints about barking dogs, nonstop issues, and then blaming staff? Honestly, it sounds like the real nightmare would’ve been camping next to the reviewer, not staying at this campground. And the one-star reviews over internet service are laughable. You’re camping—outside—on purpose. If you need hotel-level Wi-Fi to survive, this might not be the experience for you. We are in our RV on our way to Alaska. This RV park is easily the best we have stayed in since beginning our trip in Florida 3 weeks ago. Easy access from I-90, flat, yes FLAT concrete pull through sites with all the amenities. Very nice clubhouse and pool area. Close to shopping and restaurants. The park is hosting our tour group and this is the initial rally point. They allow us to wash our rigs on site or have them detailed by local vendors. Definitely a great stopping point to visit Coeur D’Alene, ID or Spokane, WA.

Liberty Lake Campground is very clean, well maintained campground. The staff is polite and friendly. Nice amenities— including pool, showers houses, activity room, playground, and sizable dog park. All sites had concrete pads, including for a picnic table area, yet still included a nice well kept grass area on each lot. Grass is thick and green so much so that I laid on it multiple times throughout our stay. All sites were well placed. Good communication from staff. Other campers were all very friendly. Well maintained roads. Campground had street lights. Stunning mountain views. Close to shopping and restaurants. Incredible water pressure and excellent electrical hookups. Feels secluded even though it’s right in the heart of Liberty Lake.

Stayed there for 2 nights on our way to Glacier National Park. Site immaculate, facilities and amenities are top notch. Got propane there and although we stayed only 2 days, kids enjoyed the playground and pool. Tough to have a RV resort better than that. We were going in an RV resort and we were expecting a little bit of noise b/c it is close to busy roads but it was a minor thing. Don’t understand some of the criticisms expressed in other reviews, ie sewer connection too far…I guess there will always have people not happy about something…

I am writing this review because we booked our spot on-line at Liberty Lake RV Campground on September 15, 2025 for one night, and unknowingly chose the “site-lock” option. This ended up costing us $114 for a one night stay, so I called to speak to the manager about getting the $50 extra charge reversed, as it was never our intention to “site-lock” our spot. He refused, saying it is their policy to not refund people who book on-line. We will not be staying here again, and beware of this “site-lock” option when booking.
