Liberty Hall Bed and Breakfast

Liberty Hall is amazing and Julia and Dudly are precious! This is like staying in a museum where you can touch everything! I stayed in the library room and got to go through tons of very old books. It was fabulous! I highly recommend staying here. Breakfast is so good & Dudley even makes his own preserves.

If you are traveling in the Alabama Black Belt region, you don't want to miss a chance to stay at Liberty Hall. Julia and Dud are the incredible hosts and travel guides. The house is beautiful, filled with collections, antiques, and thoughtful amenities. I especially loved seeing the quilts. The breakfasts, prepared by Dudly, were delicious and served with Southern hospitality and ambiance. It was a special experience.

Just stayed for the 3rd time at Liberty Hall and it is more like home everytime! The home is beautiful and full of history! We LOVE the clean rooms and the food is delicious, but the absolute best part of our stay is always the kind and friendly hosts! Also, the shopping in Camden is the BEST!

Liberty Hall is a gem! It’s a beautiful home, meticulously cared for by Julia and Dudley, the charming hosts. The house appears like a step back in time, but with central air and Wi-Fi! I stayed three nights and the room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the hosts kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. I loved sitting on the porch swing listening to the wind chimes and watching the hummingbirds in the flowers, and talking about the area history with Julia and Dud. They are hospitality experts. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and will return!

We were in town for the Gee’s Bend Airing of the Quilts. I had made the reservation some time ago and the owner kept in contact with me with information and directions. After a long day at the festival we were thrilled to have a cold drink on the porch of this beautiful 1850’s home. Julia and Dudley were wonderful hosts! The rooms are filled with period furniture, most of it original to the house. Beds and baths were perfect as was breakfast with, among other things, homemade biscuits and jams from Dudley’s kitchen. Probably the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in!
