Lewis River Inn

After spending 9 days driving up the coast we found this beautiful gem! The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and the beds were so comfortable! We couldn't believe how pretty this place was for the low price! This was the cleanest Inn we found during our trip, and we were so happy ! There is a breakfast bar in the lobby and the staff is very nice and friendly too. They have a sitting area next to the river for guests to relax that is stunning and an added bonus for the low price! The rooms were so clean And the beds Smelt Clean also, and they provide toiletries. There was no outside noise overnight and we slept great. It's a great location on the edge of town that gives you access to Mt.St Helens , shopping, and restaurants. The Inn is dog friendly and even provides dog beds and bowls

The context of this trip was a stay the night before and the night after an arduous hike to the summit of Mt. St. Helens. Woodland is the most convenient gateway city for an attack on the summit (well, other than perhaps the very small town of Cougar, WA, but it has very limited amenities). As of summer 2025, Woodland does not seem to have any "name brand" hotels in the middle-upper tier of the lodging continuum. It is with some trepidation that I book a room at an independent hotel or motel with relatively low room rates, but I have to say this property was a pleasant surprise, providing a spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet room. It's not "luxury", but it was plenty sufficient for my taste. My friend (who stayed in a different room) was fairly happy with it too.||Check-in was fast a

Positive: Nice clean room by the river side of the hotel. Was quiet and very serene to l to see the river from the balcony and watch the morning daylight reflections on the river. Watched some birds. Marionberry syrup was super yummy on the waffles in the morning. Negative: If you smoke you need to get off the property.

Excellent on all levels!!! The room was clean to my standards (which are very high) and super comfortable. The team (Tiffany) was so kind and accommodating. They helped me out when booking.com messed up my reservation. The river walk is really beautiful and it’s the property as a whole was surprisingly quiet and serene for being close-ish to other roads.

What a wonderful property. We opted to drive away from the big towns charging way too much and stay here with an acceptable rate. The rooms on the river offer the most beautiful views and a piece of serenity. We did not find the bed to be hard like other reviews. Staff is welcoming, genuine and always smiling. We were pleasantly surprised at all the extra touches in our room. Definitely will stay again. Property is very clean and decor is well kept!
