Lewis River Campground

This is a wonderful campground. The cabins are old but clean. A lot of the cabins have been newly painted with new roofs. The lodge has recently had siding put on it. The restrooms and showers are kept clean and in good working order. They have also added 3 outside showers. The kitchen/mess hall is large and comfortable with indoor and outdoor seating and cooling. There is a great nursery for the little ones to go to, while others are busy with all the other activities that can go on. There is a spot right on the river for swimming. Nice playground and big chapel room. The chapel room has large doors on both sides that can be opened for air flow and also has a stage. This is a wonderful campground!

Beautiful place with many different plants and trees. Couple different trails to choose from. Big parking lot with bathrooms.

We went here with a group in July and though they are slowly renovating at this time it is still pretty run down. Wasps and wasp nests everywhere. For example going to plug in extension cords into RV’s and you have a dozen wasps flying out at you when you open the cover in multiple locations. Also lots of wasp nests around the cabins. Water pressure is low when many people are using it. The pros are it’s really good for big groups and camps. Kitchen and dining are is big, river across the street, bathrooms have good number of stalls. Overall a good place!

Great place...clean and well kept grounds. Playground for kiddos. River and beautiful surroundings right across the street ! Would definitely stay again
