Cold Creek Campground

Love how close this is to Vancouver and the camp hosts last year were lovely. It is FCFS so get there Thursday if you can! The spots were very spacious, well-kept, and private which we appreciated! Vault toilets were clean and stocked, and the trail to the creek falls was short but beautiful. We went mid-July and the water was cold but you could definitely stay-in, esp if the sun is out. We unfortunately came the weekend the burn ban went into effect but nonetheless had a wonderful time and definitely are coming back this year :)

Drove up to see the area. Small camp grounds and a decent day use area. Seems popular

Super bummed! This is where looking at the reviews before traveling to a spot is essential… drive from Kennewick to this place because it was beautiful from the pictures… come to find the big yellow gate locked and a sign posted closed Monday through Thursday. Left me and my kids to find another camp. Wasn’t very pleased and neither was my kids. The state makes enough to keep these campgrounds open especially in the summer!

Great and beautiful campground. Clean campsites. Only opened Thursday to Monday. No water spigots throughout the campground, so you'll need to bring in water. No camp host onsite which posted a problem during our stay. We had 2 different groups that thought it was okay to stay up playing music and having their lights on until about 130. Camp host or someone needs to come by to police at 11pm to ensure the quiet time is being observed.

Never knew this place existed till I took a random drive and o boy do I love it here. No one was here and it was very quiet here. A great place to come out and have lunch with friends and family. There is also a restroom there which makes it nice. Bring your dogs with you they will enjoy it to. Plus there is a lil River that is beautiful and on a rainy day the look of the area is beautiful!
