Lewis & Clark Motel at Kamiah Clearwater River KOA

We came into this KOA unexpectedly due to rain whilst on an off road motorcycle adventure thru Idaho. After an entire day of rain we decided to grab a room available. Just so happened to be 4th of July too. We got lucky. The staff were extremely helpful & nice. Went out of their way to make sure us wet & cold peeps were well settled. Thx gang 😎

Very cute KOA. The pool was nice, and the cabins were quaint. Grocery shopping and restaurants are close. Make sure to prepare for outdoor fun! Bicycling, hiking, rafting, and floating are all within 5-10 minutes away. You will be slightly "off the grid," and there are no fast food restaurants or commonly known stores, but you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful family place. Something for everyone. Just across the road from the Heart of the Monster nature preserve and hiking area and the beautiful Clearwater river. Clean and roomy showers, and they have whole bunch of washers and dryers so you can bust out all your laundry in one quick go while the kids play in the pool, or play in the playground,or feed the ducks at the duck pond. It’s truly the perfect place to stay.

I just love this place, tucked back in the hills of Idaho. The staff are so friendly they treat you like family. Rustic area with lots of trees for shade. A very peaceful place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The deluxe cabin I stayed in was very clean and well-equipped. The kitchenette included everything needed to cook basic meals (including plates and utensils), and the AC was like an oasis in the July heat. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay after motorcycling Highway 12.
