Lazy Lake Outpost

WARNING: BAIT AND SWITCH: We were booked for this house for two nights. When I hadn't received the day-of confirmation, I called the contact number and was told there were people already in the house and they could move us to their motel and give us a discount. Apparently there are booking complications for the next year. Reservations made outside of that "new system" have been lost. Beware, this is potential problem as they are also on airbnb, vrbo their website.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Lazy Lake Outpost this past weekend. First the house is really a great retreat. Nicely updated but still has that old homestead charm. All the modern conveniences, from full kitchen, bath (with shower and jetted tub), two living rooms to big TV and WIFI. Wildlife just out the front door- Beautiful! We originally booked at the Columbia Point Resort but changed our room needs at the last minute and Amanda switched us to the house. It is a stones throw from the marina where we launched the boat and had a great day fishing. Mark and Amanda were amazing hosts-even left us some farm fresh eggs in the fridge!
