Lazy Bear Cabins

Best place ever to stay! The owners John and Marge are 2 of the greatest down to earth people you could ever meet, their cabins (houses) are amazing, price is fantastic and the peacefulness you find there is totally AMAZING! My husband and I have been there numerous times and never had any problems! Love Love Love staying there!

Cabin #2 was really nice. Ffully stocked with everything you may need; towels, dishes, seasonings and cable TV. The weather was cloudy and cool. Perfect for salmon fishing. Bring mosquito spray because the bugs will carry you off. The sulfer smell of the water is bad as well. Owners are real nice and hospitable. There is a dollar store and restaurant within 10 min.

John & Marge are some of the nicest people I have ever met & just want their guests to be comfortable. They have offered us different things we've needed, forgotten, etc. Cabin 1 is cute, but bed isn't the comfiest thing ever lol. Cabin 1's enclosed porch is cute & has some of the most comfortable chairs you'll ever sit in. There's a grocery store & restaurant 5 minutes away. There are many little restaurants in the area. Right by the lake, this is a convenient location for sure. Owners made the trip even better & I thank them dearly!!

Beautiful! The cabin is exceptionally clean, I really can't say enough good things about our Lazy Bear cabin and the owners Marge and John and rather family are the nicest most accommodating people. They went over and above for us. If you are looking for a cabin in the Manistee National Forest area, look no further than the Lazy Bear Cabins on Seamon Rd. You will NOT be disappointed.

Found them as a last minute weekend get away. Cabin one is the perfect size for a couples get away. Clean, cozy, affordable, and only 20 minutes from downtown Manistee and 5 minutes from Doubling General Store. Owners are very nice, personable couple. Will definitely be going back.
