Lawton Extended Stay

My stay at this location was very disappointing. The rooms were extremely small, especially for guests with accessibility needs. The rollaway bed was uncomfortable, the TV remote had dirty and slimy batteries, and the mini fridge was leaking. On top of that, the microwave door was completely broken. Security is great, the pool and workout is nice, the maid service once a week it's very helpful. Does peace in the hallway and no strangers wandering around asking silly questions and the casino right up the way "about every day", I don't ask for much but they give a lot and I'm happy

Everything about it was awful. The halls and room smell like an air filter that hasn't been changed in years. The blankets and curtain was stained. There is no comforter on the beds. There are just 2 top sheets. The "free breakfast" is just coffee. Literally. Just coffee. For paying over $100 a night they didn't even clean the rooms each day. The hotel only has 1 plunger apparently and couldn't find it. After the entire day of an unusable toilet and asking several times we are told the cleaning lady wasn't here and they couldn't get it. We eventually just got a new room. The new room was just as bad. Carmen is a great manager! She is quick to make sure your needs are met. This is a nice economical place to stay. I would recommend it to my travel nurse friends.

When I arrived around 3:30, I checked in but they had 3 housekeepers quit that morning so the room’s weren’t ready. I was told to come back in about 20-30 minutes and she could give me the keys. I came back about an hour later trying to give them enough room and staff had changed shifts. The new person seemed to be very I knowledgeable about what needed to be done as she had about 5 people in line. I asked if my keys were ready and she just ignored me. After about an hour of waiting, while she was checking in another, who also had problems, she called the manager, Brian. When he showed up, he began looking into my reservation and he also could not get my room assigned. He finally started saying Priceline has over booked us but I promise I will get you a room.
