Lavissh Inn and Suites

An excellent value. Simple rooms, but very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when in town. The cost savings covered Uber rides to the bar/band we can to see. And a great coffee roaster right next door...great experience!

Unfortunately, I lost my money after trying to cancel within 24 hours of check-in. I booked on hotels.com. I have since deleted my account at hotels.com. I feel like hotels.com did very little to help refund my money. Also, I could not get a hold of the hotel to talk to someone about a return. They only wanted me to book a new reservation. Buyer beware !!! I will not go there anymore. I have stayed maybe 3 times before. It is fairly crappy in the service, cleanliness, and the overall vibe but it is tolerable for a night.

Positive: Easy access to interstate Negative: Pet fee was more than at much nicer places.Awful bed and small square pillow. I requested a real pillow to learn they had noneNo breakfast . Poorly lite hallways.Telephone hadn?t been cleaned since it left the manufacturer. No tv program guide

All in all, this was a good experience. I can say absolutely nothing bad about the room, and the service was great. Ryanne (?) was wonderful. I really appreciated the luggage storage. The only problem I had with this hotel was the policy of not letting guests check in to their rooms early. I have been allowed into my room early in probably a dozen hotels (everyone that I have asked). Lavish Inn will let you in, but only for a fee. This seems very GREEDY and non-customer-friendly to me. I understand a fee for a late check-out because the room's cleaning and preparation for the next guest is being delayed. But if a guest shows up early and there are rooms ready, they should be allowed in early without a fee. If it wasn't for this policy, I would have given a much higher score.

Staff was pleasant upon checking in and out. Newer carpet and paint. But obviously this was a "lipstick on a pig" scenario. Still has old fixtures, complete with cigarette burns on the side of the plastic tub. Dark hallway was creepy. Very small elevator. Both pillows on my queen sized bed had someone else's hair on them. Curtains wouldn't close completely. Heater was very noisy. Questionable lock on the door.
