SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bellingham

I gave it three stars because while the rooms and services were great, some of the facilities were not working properly. The hot tub heating system wasn’t functioning properly so the temperature was set low, more like a mild/cold tub rather than hot. I was told that this was an issue with upper management and that they needed to ok the work to get it done. I guess they don’t seem to be in to much of a hurry to fix it. Well I really do like this place as I have stayed here often so I hope they think about their guests more.

Gabby at the front desk really helped me out. I booked a room for a basketball tournament that was originally scheduled 28-30 Dec. They ended up moving it to 29-31. I had a rough time getting the change to go through to move the days with the reservation and on my app. So I booked an extra day on the 31st. I must have called 4 times back to back to back. Gabby was very patient with me and helped me resolve my issue. I truly appreciate the professionalism and her desire to help me get everything squared away. Thank you Gabby. My family and I look forward to our stay.

I called the day before coming and asked about the pool and hot tub, was told they were working well. We chose this hotel for that reason. Upon arriving the pool was freezing and the hot tub was luke warm, obviously they were both malfunctioning. What was frustrating was they didn’t tell us that when we called the day prior, and when questioned no staff would admit they were broken. There was no sign at the desk, everyone was just pretending like all was well. I saw several people pissed about this stating they also had chosen this hotel due to the pool and hot tub… The breakfast was good and room was clean though. They let us check in a bit early which was nice. Besides from the pool/hot tub, it was a positive experience!

The staff overall were lovely. We we given a quiet room and they kindly allowed us to check in slightly earlier which we appreciated. Breakfast was very chaotic as there was a tournament in town. The pool was freezing on the first day but felt warmer on the second.

Such pleasant, kind, and helpful staff! The continental breakfast was better than most others we have experienced, lots of fresh options, and the pool was clean and area looked like it was well kept. We would stay here again!
