Laurel Notch Motel

I am updating this as I use this for meeting someone and the new owners seem nice and they are renovating. I stayed in a new room, it was clean with a nice floor, new bedding and new bathroom upgraded. No more carpets. Def okay if you need something for a quick stay and defiantly reasonable priced. My only thing is couldn't figure out how to get the heat to work at a higher setting.

Doesn’t deserve any ratings. Room was filthy. Floor was covered in lord knows what, hairs on the covers, dirty condoms and cups left. When confronting the owner, he already knew and gave a refund. It’s not acceptable to knowingly give someone a dirty room. Not to mention the creepy doll/girl painting above the bed. Never again.

Told me no service dogs allowed, when I got there. I told them my sons service dog will be babysat for the night and told me I could come back when I got back to the establishment. Then once I got my son's service animal to the sitter and got back to the room that I was already reserved from emergency housing. They turned us away. My two children that have special needs fifteen and nine and I, we had nowhere to stay n the manager Charles didn't care! Told me "u can't be a pet owner n stay here!" Heartless!

Charles (the new manager) was exceptional. All the other reasonably priced hotels in the area were booked but he made sure our stay was comfortable. Great service, decent rooms, nicely priced. From out of state but would come back to this hotel if travels permitted due to the amazing service and management.

Stayed here a few months ago and it was ok. Heat didn’t work well. Tried calling and getting a room. The phone rings 15 times and no one picks up. They don’t take reservations. They said they had lots of rooms available. Drove 6 hours to get there. Literally ONE car in the entire lot and I’m told there are no rooms left. I would understand if the lot was full. But one car at 10 pm and no rooms. Just crossed this “under new management “ place off my list. The good thing is Red Roof is 1/4 mile down the road. Got a room there no problem.
