LaSalle / Peru KOA Journey

We stayed 5 days. Great little family owned campground just far enough from the beaten path. Dave and Linda take pride with the place. Well manicured and kept. Excellent bath house. We visited with owners several times while there, great folks. Just a few miles away from downtown Utica and all the state parks and hiking. We will definitely be back.

A nice quiet clean family friendly campground. We really enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms were very clean, the pool is a nice size and good temperature. The kids loved that they could borrow basketballs and play basketball, I loved the quiet babbling brook and the peaceful surroundings. I don't think I have ever been to a more peaceful family friendly camp ground. There were even cows grazing next door but no farm odors! We tent camped out first two nights until rain swamped our tent. ( I loved site 36 near the bridge, but the land is low and if rain is forecast other site with higher ground were better.) We were able to get a cozy cabin for the last night which was had ac which was was a treat! One of the best campgrounds we have ever been to!!!

Very pleasant, nice and quite campground. It’s located in a very natural surrounding with a little creek. The bathrooms are very clean and well operated, like the campground in general. The friendly host helped us out with some grocery from her own storage. We definitely recommend this campground.

Picked this campground off Google during a cross country trip. Wanted away from the interstate but not too far. We were blessed! Great site, SUPER CLEAN BATHHOUSE with “rainforest” shower head & plenty of hot. Great store for the essentials & treats. Was met at the entrance by Linda who was just so very hospitable. Lovely grounds. Had site 33 in the corner with elec/water and really felt good about this choice to stay. Don’t hesitate. (Sorry my pics are dark - got in just before dusk.)

Our families first camping trip and this exceeded our expectations! Even though a "RV park" We tent camped after hiking Matthiessen State Park. Arrived around 4pm and caretakers were beyond helpful. Got to choose any tent site we wanted that had an open picnic table. Owners let us use their air pump to fill our air mattresses which saved us a ton of time, even offered to let us use their golf cart when the blown up air mattress wouldn't fit in the car (we declined and put them on the roof and drove slowly instead). Offered to help load our firewood into the car, $6/bundle and each bundle lasted over an hour.|The camp site was clean with a fire pit and sliding grill grate at each site. We stayed on the primitive camp side of the creek, no electricity or water hook ups on that side. The spo
