Lanam Hill Cabin Rentals

Clean and well stocked little cabin! This is the place to be if you want to be away from it all but close to Nashville or Brown County State Park. Beautiful location that was secluded with loads of wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, turtles, and loads of birds. Great front porch and back deck for eating outside or just having coffee/tea to greet the day. Location is a quick 7 minute drive to downtown Nashville.

We've stayed here several times and always enjoy ourselves immensely. The owners couldn't be nicer and the property is extremely charming. The kids like to fish in the two on-site ponds, and there's lots of room for running around. The cabins are rustic and clean. The property is a few miles from town, making it easy to zip in and out.

Just 5 miles from the shops in Brown county this quiet farm is the place to relax, fish or take a nap. We stayed in Sarah's cabin (sleep 2) everything was provided..liens, cups, plates, utensils, coffee maker with coffee and hairdryer. I was pleasantly surprised to see a charcoal grill with coal and lighter fluid. The property is owned by a very nice couple who live on the farm but don't let that deter you! We hardly even knew they were there. 3 differen fishing holes with plenty of good size fish to take home. We hike through the farm to enjoy nature without have to go into the park. WiFi and cell service was not strong inside the cabin once you stepped outside it improved. I will be returning for sure!

My sister and I wanted to stay somewhere close to town and quiet. I have been coming to Nashville for about 20 yrs., sometimes to getaway for a week or a few days. I have stayed at many home rentals in Nashville but this was much different in a good way. The Hitchin post was small but just what we were looking for. The Farm has beautiful surroundings and the ponds and walkways are great for taking in a walk. This is a great cabin, inside and out.

We stayed in the 2 person cabin "sarah's cabin". It was cozy and comfortable. The view of the grounds is very relaxing. If we hadn't spent as much time seeing the sights of Brown County we would have loved to build a fire and sit by the pond.
