Lakeside Camping

I don't usually write reviews but Lakeside Camping is such a hidden gem I felt I had to say something. We've been camping at Lakeside for 5 or 6 years now, every year we stayed, we enjoyed it  so much we would add another week to our vacation. This year we are up to 6 weeks. The owner and staff are very frendly and helpful.  The lake is beautiful and it is so relaxing sitting on the beach watching the amazing sunsets and during the day watching the Loons, Bald Eagles, Ospreys and Hawks fly by. At night you can also listen to the Loons echo across the lake. The fishing is also great there and at the surrounding lakes. It is always an enjoyable vacation!

When looking for a campground, every familly has it’s own request. It’s the playground for the kids, a pool, activities, a lake or whatever. My wife and I live in Magog, Qc and we are in our 60’s so we were looking for a quiet spot for this particular weekend, in nature as much as possible with a place to put our kayaks in the water. We also like to go across the boarder, it’s close and we really fell like we disconnect from our daily life, our mother tongue being french…. And gas and alcool are cheaper 😊|This past weekend, we had a reservation in Stowe… and 24 hres before we get there, we received a call, it’s canceled because the campground was flooded. |My wife made numerous calls thursday afternoon to find a campground near by that we can access because many roads were closed too and m

We stayed in our camper. Lakeside camping is both peaceful and exciting. The atmosphere is very family friendly. There was always something to do between swimming, boating, using the play ground or exploring the area. The views were amazing and the staff was very helpful and the camp store was fully stocked with other shopping opportunities within 5-20 minute drive. We booked 2 trips next year.

We LOVE this campground!!!! Always peaceful, and cozy experience. Maurice runs a well kept campground with nice, clean bathrooms and individual coin operated shower rooms that lock, so you have the whole thing to yourself. If you're bored in NEK, It's your own darn fault! Check it out!

Very nice campground the owner Maurice and his staff are very accommodating . It’s also nice to have a convenient store on the premises as well as a filling station for propane . If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway with your RV,camper,or tent look no further give them a call.
