Lake View Inn

I usually don't leave terrible reviews. But travelers beware. To start the woman on the front desk smelled so bad I had to take a step back. The room was not clean and was not anything like the pictures. The bed was very old. The lamps were rusty and the shades cracked. No usb ports. The walls were in disrepair and had holes and scratches all over them. They smelled of smoke. A guy was smoking in the room next to me and it was flowing into my room. I saw him ashing his smoke out the door. The person serving the breakfast had firty hands. No gloves and dirt under long finger nails. The upper deck around the building was rusty and sagging. This is not a hotel that needs a remodel. It needs to be torn down. I paid on booking. It said it had pet friendly rooms. I requested one. But they had a

Positive: "" Negative: made reservations for a king size bed. Checked in. Walked in the room and there was bags of food left in the room. the key was laying on table. bathroom had used soap still in shower. no place to hang clothes. Was put in room with two full size beds.

Don't wanna rate this place honestly bc then everyone is going to want to stay here. Good location, plenty of parking for trucks with boats, plenty of places to plug the boat in. Simple but clean rooms. A/C work great. Fair price. Good fishing and great sunsets

S impressed with everything about this stay. The customer service was amazing from the early check-in to keeping my phone safe after I left it in the room. Everything was super clean, desk is very professional, and the breakfast, while not elaborate, it was very quaint and nice. If you book online, it costs $2 more than the cheapest, crappiest Motel in Granbury, yet it's much more than a Motel. Hotel quality with amazing views and it's definitely the best. Thank God for everything; it was nice being treated like a guest, as opposed to a pain or suspect. We did not book online, we paid full price. Trust me I want to appreciate a good deal but it was worth every penny we were not upset about it

Bad bad experience, save time and aggravation. My grandkids checked in about 5:30pm for a surprise birthday part for their 70:year old grandmother. The got dressed quickly for a pool party and if the TV was damaged they did not notice it, and was at the party by 6:30pm. Returning at about 11:30pm they noticed the TV had been turn off, and the remote stored in a drawer, and the TV was now broken. My grandson in law went to the front desk to report the damaged TV, and was told by Tim there was no problem and would be no charge since the owner was replacing the TV anyway. They checked out about 7:30am the next day, and there was no comment or charge regarding the TV.
