Lake Shore Farm Inn

Such a beautiful place. The walks around the pond/lake were breathtakingly beautiful. The room was clean and nice. The balcony was charming. We loved the "tavern" which had space to hang out. The fire in the evening was such a nice end to the day.

We had a wonderful time at the inn. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room staff are also very friendly. I think it would be a great place for families with the huge game room downstairs (pool, ping pong, board games), a playground, and a very well kept beach on the property. We found the room to be comfortable, and loved the balcony. We left our door open and loved the fresh air coming in off of the lake. We'll definitely stay there again when we come to the area

I enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness. Kayak'ed on the lake, made new friends. This is a great place for traveling alone and not looking for all kinds of amenities. The more critical reviews I read here made me more interested in booking. Those reviewers seemed spoiled and not quite capable of entertaining themselves. Great place for independent spirits.

Conveniently located for a 2-3 night stay that lets you see Manchester, Concord Hampton and Portsmouth for a day trip. The owners living on the property add a special touch of hospitality, and there is great peace of mind knowing that the solution to any issues is a quick phone call (or text) away. We were greeted and shown around by a most friendly host and immediately fell in love with the place. The lake water is from a fresh spring so the water is very clean, and the available kayaks and pedal boat (first come first serve) are in good shape. Great place to bring your family! My favorite part of the bedroom was the incredibly comfortable king size bed i slept in. The roku tv in the room was perfect as i was able to sign in to my own apps (without forgetting to sign out at the end!) inst

The owner describes the Inn as an "old country inn," which is quite apt as it is run down with old sash windows that won't stay open and holes in walls and ceiling. And spiders and cobwebs everywhere. (Hello, cleaning/maintenance crew?!) He took a $100 deposit on my credit card and charged me for pre-existing damage to the room. When I called to dispute this, he angrily claimed that we put a hole in ceiling and taped over it! Needless to say, I've disputed this charge. If you stay here make sure you take pictures of all existing damage in your room so you don't get charged for it! The only saving grace to this place is the lovely spring-fed pond, which was unfortunately overrun by the cleaning crew's extended family during our entire stay. Buyer beware!
