Lake Macbride Boat Rental

Overall great facility with the beach next door and good options for rentals. The staff were friendly. A few random items to note 1) hard to zoom in on their Facebook page the options and prices as you try to zoom in and it tried to call the number. I’d highly recommend adding an image with yearly options and prices separately from the call feature if only using FB for informational site. Same on google maps. 2) We did go on a week day morning when the weather was gloomy and they technically advertised opening at 9am and when we arrived at 9:30am it wasn’t open. We called and left a message. Due to the weather they were opening late and someone was in sometime after 10am. So make sure you call ahead to make sure someone is in and leave a message if going outside peak times. We ended up go

This is a must visit place in summer at Cedar Rapids. We went today afternoon, it is a nice place to enjoy with the family and friends. We really enjoyed the kayaking, also they have different types of boat rentals service. For double kayaking 1 hour they charge ~ 18$. For pontoons you need to make a red earlier. Don’t try to call their mobile number… I am getting busy tune for the last 3 days.

Good experience. You can book a motor boat , sail boat etc . Go with your family and friends and have some good time at the boat ! The views are amazing from the boat .

Single or 2 person kayaks available, stand up paddle boats and canoes available too. The bay was great for even younger kids to safely paddle through. Prices reasonable and boats easily and quickly accessed by renter. There is also a roped off beach area where you can watch family members should someone in your party not want to paddle. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the young adults don't believe in service with a smile and were not helpful when we were deciding what to rent for our Family of 4. But if you know what you want, this is the quick service place for you.

EXPERIENCE: Definitely worth every cent! My kids had their time of their lives: they could enjoy a nice ride in the lake, with jaw dropping houses and beautiful nature, all with the wind in our faces! They could also sat with me and play they were driving the boat! The only bad part was that it is not allowed to swim or fish from that boat. SERVICE: ok for the price paid ($67/hour), with some of the people being attentive and nice. But there was a lady who seemed to be not happy to work, not smiling or being helpful at all.
