I checked into this motel expecting “just a place to sleep,” and honestly, it turned out to be a little gem. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The bed was so comfortable I briefly considered canceling my plans and becoming one with the blankets. The staff were warm and welcoming in that genuine, small‑town way that makes you feel like you’ve been there before. Even the coffee in the lobby tasted better than my usual “I hope this wakes me up” gas‑station brew. The best part? Everything worked exactly the way it should. Edit to add: My friend checked in Sunday evening on 2/8 and it was a lady who helped her first then the guy took over and was asking personal questions like if she was traveling alone. This is unacceptable for any establishment. Do not try to reply to my review like it is fake to make your business look good. Your staff took a phone number of a guest and used it for personal reason and that’s not ok. This needs to be addressed. My friend stayed there two weeks ago but won't be going back. The hotel was ok and like the other reviews say, the whole place smells bad. But the bad part is the guy at the front office. He asked her for her number when she checked in and then texted her asking if she needed anything and to let him know if she did. I don't know if big hotel/motel chains that do

This has become our go‑to stop whenever we are traveling through the area. The staff is truly exceptional — from the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone is friendly, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond. I know the new owners are working hard to make upgrades and positive changes, and it really shows. I stayed here about a year ago, and on this return visit we could already see the progress they’ve made. I’m excited to see how they continue improving, and we will definitely be staying here again.
