Lake Easton State Park is a gem in the Cascades and one of the best places we’ve camped. The lake itself is absolutely beautiful, calm, clear water surrounded by forested hills that make every view feel like a postcard. Whether you’re sitting at camp, walking along the trails, or watching the sunset over the water, it’s peaceful and refreshing. We came in with a truck and toy hauler, and the park had no issues accommodating us. The campsites are well laid out with plenty of space and privacy, and we were able to set up comfortably without feeling crowded. The park is clean, quiet, and really well maintained. Bathrooms and amenities were all in good condition, which made the stay even better. There’s so much to do here, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, biking, or just relaxing by the l

The road noise is loud and constant. Besides that, as campgrounds go, it’s standard. The water wasn’t working at the spigots (6/17/25). Beautiful river trail that takes you to the base of the damn, which makes a waterfall. Drive about 5ish minutes to get to the lake access/beach . It wasn’t busy so the parking seamed more than adequate. Clean restroom. Nice playground. Boat launch is right before the beach area. The lake itself is amazing. Incredible scenery to see and explore. If you go under the railroad bridge it takes you to the river inlet. We kayaked/paddle boarded, and I doubt a boat could go that route.

We went to use the lake for paddleboarding and kayak. It was about 75 degrees and a little breeze. The water was warm and sandy, I didn't feel any algae. It was too choppy so we went too explore. We checked out the camp area and it wasn't for us just because we like off grid camping. They had changing rooms, nice bathrooms, running water, beach area, play area, walking trails, and a boat ramp.

We loved our stay at this beautiful park. This was the cleanest State Park campground we've ever visited. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the bathrooms are very clean and functional. The lake water was crystal clear and perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming if you don't mind the cold. Be warned that the swimming area will get very crowded on hot summer days. The rest of the lake however is very quiet since there is a limit on powered boats. I had read some people complain about road noise from i-90, but we stayed on the lake side of the loop with hookups and it wasn't really noticeable. It's just the sort of far off droning hum of traffic that your brain easily tunes out. It was a little bit louder on the side of the loop closest to the highway, but it still wouldn'

This is a good state park, but it is very noisy. We could hear the highway noise even from across the lake. The trail around the lake is nice, but I wish I had known that 1/4 of it would be near the highway. Once you enter the town and cross the Yakima River, you will walk for about 20 minutes on a shoulder along the highway (on Railroad St.) until you are back in the woods again. Other than that, the park is really good.
