Lake Durant Campground

Lake Durant Campground is a beautiful Adirondack campground with incredible lake views and peaceful surroundings. The sunsets over the water are amazing, and it’s a great spot for camping, kayaking, fishing, and enjoying the Adirondack wilderness. Definitely one of the nicest places to experience the outdoors in the Adirondacks.

If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city - this is the place for you! forest, incredible clean air, lake, and of course mountains! It is simply a paradise for those who like to rest in the camp! there are many trails, good locations of camping areas with barbecue. the minus is the lack of electricity

The best camping experiences you can have are in the Adirondacks. Our stay here was spectacular. Great for hiking or biking .

Love the roomy lakeside sites. Many with views of Blue Mountain. We have loved it there all previous years. They have a dishwashing station at the main restroom Restroom and showers are nice. which is handy to bring your dishpans and dirty dishes to. But ... The have new rules about food prep and dishes at your campsite that make you feel like if you take to long to make dinner you will be fined . I wish I had taken a photo of the rules. No clean dishes are allowed outside your car. It just made tent camping a bit difficult. Will be sure to do more meal prep at home if we ever go back and have a plan to have everything stay in the car we hen not in use. Just need to reorganize my camp kitchen.

Some really beautiful views right from the campsights. Not all of them are created equal though so try to book ones close to the lake. Lots of hiking and fishing close by. Overall a great spot of ADK adventure.
