Lake DuBay Shores Campground

recently stayed at this lakeside campground, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful – waking up right next to the water made the entire stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and everything was easy to reach from our pitch.||What stood out the most were the staff members. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their positive attitude made our stay even more enjoyable.||I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a calm, scenic getaway with excellent service. I would definitely come back! 😊

I found this campsite through a YouTube video by PPPeter, and it absolutely lived up to the expectations. The place is incredible — the views are stunning, the location is perfect, and the whole atmosphere is just peaceful and beautiful. The service was great too. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. John, in particular, is super chill. He genuinely cares about keeping the area safe and making sure everyone follows the rules so the campsite stays enjoyable for all visitors. I noticed there are negative reviews, but honestly, most of them seem to come from people who didn’t respect the rules in the first place. If you follow the guidelines (which are very reasonable), you’ll have an amazing experience here. I definitely recommend this campsite. I’ll be back for sure! 🌲⛺️

Not as bad as some other review. John is friendly if you are nice to him. The campsite is great, big and next to the lake with a lot of shaded areas. They should clean the WC/Shower more often (a lot of bugs). If you have daily visitor, they should check in before entering the Campground. I stayed one night at Lake Du Bay Shores Campground while traveling across the U.S. I was a bit worried because of some of the negative reviews online, but since there weren’t many options in the area, I decided to give it a try — and I’m glad I did.||||The campground is perfectly decent, nothing fancy, just a solid average, no-nonsense place to rest for the night. For the price, it delivers exactly what you’d expect — fair value for money.||||I also want to mention John, who was genuinely great to talk to. He appreciated that we followed the rules, and we had a nice conversation. He really made the stay feel more welcoming.||||Overall, the bad reviews feel exaggerated or unfair. My experience was completely fine — a reasonable, reliable campground when you need a place to stay.

I loved this place. The lake and the surroundings were simply amazing. It’s the perfect place to relax. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful views. Everything felt calm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The area is clean, quiet, and ideal for a weekend escape. I would happily come back anytime. John was a great guy.
