Do not book this hotel! We booked a room so we could get a few hours of sleep before catching an early flight out of CWA. The day prior, we had gotten a confirmation email. When we arrived the hotel was closed due to a maintenance issue that caused serious water damage. This did not just happen. They have been closed for some time. Expedia managed to book us with the other hotel in town after an hour on the phone with Expedia trying to contact anyone with the hotel. The next day, we got another email to check out of the AmericaInn. It is fraud.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I made an online reservation specifically because this hotel is near the airport. The booking went through without issue, I received a Veteran’s discount, and I received both a confirmation and pre-check-in message the night before we were scheduled to arrive. When we arrived around 8:00 p.m., the building was dark and locked. A handwritten note on the door stated the hotel was closed due to water damage and listed a phone number. When I called, I was told the hotel had been closed for a couple of weeks and would not reopen until March. There was no explanation for why I wasn’t notified that my reservation was no longer valid or why confirmation messages were still being sent. Positive: "" Negative: The hotel was falling apart, there was a chunk of the building propping open what was supposed to be to be a secured door. Hot tub out of service. Breakfast was not good. Staff did not speak English well enough to express my concerns. A true dump

Ceiling collapsed in many bedrooms causing the hotel to be evacuated at 12am. No security on doors not attached the the lobby. Poor heating control. Bathrooms sketchy. Can’t get ahold of the manager to get a refund for having to be kicked out half way through our trip.

Sunny at the front desk did a great job! I had some issues with traveling and car rental was closed. They were exceptional and picked me up at the airport within minutes of me calling and we're willing to let me choose daily how long I planned on staying. My flight was double booked and double charged. My money was tied up - i traveled alone but felt very safe here. My room was cozy and the heat was on even though I checked in in the really early morning hours due to flight delays.
