Lake Cove Resort & Marina

Pros: It's nice and quiet. The hosts and the maintenance guy are all really nice. The showers at the middle campground are great, awesome pressure and plenty hot. Cons: Some spots are extremely tight. Like maybe 18 feet wide in some. I figured I would address some of the stuff in the negative reviews because some of them seem to no longer apply. All sites are gravelled and they spray down the road daily to keep dust down. I had no problem with dirt everywhere. I thought the middle campground restroom was nice and clean. Sure there were some bugs. I don't know why you would expect there not to be bigs while camping. The lakeside restroom is likely not as clean because the people camping down there seem a little roudier. I would call way ahead and ask for a bigger spot if possible.

Kelly and Chuck (camp hosts) are wonderful. We were greeted and assisted with finding our spot and learning the best way to launch and dock our boat with their marina (the water is high so chuck ensured we knew where the hazards were). They were beyond gracious our whole stay and made it very enjoyable. We would love to return. Great camping, lake front, marina for the boat… and all the little things you need at the store.

Was a great place to camp all the amenities you could need, bathrooms, washer and drier, showers, power water and sewer at spots. Also had tent spots. Horseshoe pit, volleyball net,

Beautiful setting among the trees and nestled next to the lake. We stayed across the road in order to have hookups and it was a quick 2 minute walk to the lake shore. They nicely keep chairs by the lake for people to relax in and it was fun to walk out on the dock. We used this as a base to explore Lassen National Park which was great, but don't take your RV up there! We had a bit of a problem backing in between trees and tables, more so than other parks, but it wasn't impossible. We will stay here again.

We had such of an amazing time at Lake Cove. I'm not paid to say this but Rollin and his wife was the beat host I have ever seen. They truly made our trip fun. We will be back soon. Camp is clean and have a lot to do from horseshoes, badminton, hiking, swim at lake . I just got home and miss it already. Thank you to everyone at Lake Cove Resorts. Highly recommended!
