Lake Bomoseen Lodge

Awesome lake view room across the street from main Lodge right on south shore of Lake Bomoseen. We were upgraded to room #112 and were not disappointed. Midweek stay was very quiet, little traffic, peaceful and quiet at night. The Lake Bomoseen Taproom across the street by the main lodge made for very convenient eats & drinks with a short stumble home ;) Closed Monday, Tuesday FYI. Thursday was trivia night, Sunday night was busy with fun locals. Very friendly staff & clients. 45 min drive to Killington and everything you need can be found nearby in Castleton, Fair Haven or Rutland just a short drive away. Lodge staff were quite helpful and the complimentary breakfast of coffee, tea, cereal, muffins, yogurt, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, was really all you need before you hit the pavemen

What a great place! It truly earns 5 stars and more. Everything inside and out was freshly renovated or otherwise well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The lake view is pretty. The complimentary grab-and-go breakfast satisfies and is of good quality food. Employees were outside cleaning and shoveling snow, maintaining the blaze in the fire pit, or working hard in some other way whenever we happened to be outside. The gracefulness of the staff is what set this lodge above others for me. We reserved 2 semi-lakeview rooms and, when we arrived, the receptionist told us they had upgraded us to the more expensive lakeview rooms just because they hadn't been reserved. A nice surprise! Our entire wedding experience at Lake Bomoseen was nothing short of incredible. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and every moment—from planning to the big day—was handled with such care and professionalism. A special thank you to our amazing wedding coordinator, Rebeca, who never missed a beat. She was an absolute joy to work with and made everything feel seamless. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make not just my husband and me, but all of our guests, feel truly welcomed—like family. The room was clean and the view was amazing. When we walked through the slider onto a deck we were right at the edge of the lake. We received fresh towels daily. ||The office staff, maintenance staff and other staff on property were very friendly, helpful and polite. The wedding staff was amazing! Due to extremely windy cold weather the wedding was moved inside. They set it up for the ceremony, and then broke down that setup and setup for the reception while we had cocktail Hour. |Very well done!!|As it was late in the year, as of November 4th the ice machine was off and you could not get ice. |The breakfast was minimal. |We would stay there again |The breakfast was very limited.

We came up for a family event and stayed in room 401. This room, while spacious, was not a good room for a family! The housekeeping entrance was right by the living area and incredibly loud, one bedroom was very bright with blinds that were not fully functional and right on the main drive, and the boiler was very loud.
