Lagniappe Retreat

We had the best time at Lagniappe Retreat! The cabin immediately felt like home the minute we walked in. It was plenty spacious for our group of six. The view of the lake was so calming and the sunrise was beautiful. We enjoyed being able to get away for a few days to do some fishing and have some down time. Kim and Brian are the best hosts a family could ask for. We highly recommend this place whether it be for a family, a girl’s or guy’s weekend, or anyone who just wants/needs to get away to recharge. Two cute cabins within walking distance of the lake. Sit on the swing on the porch and look at the lake at sunrise! Breathtaking! Everything you need is here at Lagniappe Retreat. Enjoy the larger two bedroom or the smaller 1 bedroom…or both! Each has kitchen, bathroom, complete amenities. Laundry room onsite. Decorated so sweetly with antiques, comfy furnishings. Park at your door. Owner is across the street and available for whatever you might need or can be invisible if you prefer complete privacy…they even have a golf cart you can borrow to check out the neighborhood. Note: The lake was low at the time of our visit, but normally you can fish, boat, jet ski. Beautiful vacation homes. You’ll love it.
