La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tyler - University Area

The staff here this time was very welcoming and the breakfast was like last time. But the rooms were clean and I would've liked a cheaper rate and my booking updated and my wydamn rewards placed back for the days for August and current with my days of staying last year and this year. The location is a good one, you can find places too eat, or buy car. But the holiday noise wasn't all that bad just the as stalkers, and harassers riding the loop and car lot next door but I can't wait for Smith county too arrest them. And I'm grant justice for all there is damages, illegal cult, terrorist actions.

Ive stayed at this hotel on my trips to Tyler, TX with no problem before. I'm a Disabled Vet needing an accessible room and quiet place to rest. I checked into hotel on a Fri evening and it was clean, but I had a funeral the next day. The room above me kept being loud and throwing stuff and stomping at 10:30pm. The front desk wouldn't contact the room to ask them to be quiet at 11pm, 12:36am call. I had to put in earbuds and could still hear them. I have to cut the stay short here and find a new hotel the next day since the staff wouldn't help with noise complaint. I was very tempted to contact law enforcement to help the situation at 1:00am. Please dont stay here find another hotel.

Positive: "" Negative: It had a terrible smell Wet bold smell so they gave us another room and that one was worse finally they gave one room on the second floor and one on the 3rd the second floor was good but no king size and the other room was just terrible the smell

Had to change rooms due to the tv but working and had some worn wall panels and spots need to be painted or wiped. ||We went to the room next door and it was better had problems with the TV again. Didn't want to come on then when it did come on it would'nt allow me to change the channels and then kept going off, tv channel selection are slim. But it was a pleasant stay once the upstairs neighbors finally stopped stomping and walking.||The area was quiet and convenient front desk he made the accommodation and she made sure the request of cleaning the room was completed while we were out and about came back to a clean room towels stocked and the scent was refreshing love a good scent.

Room was spotless and comfortable beds. All the essentials supplied for you in your room and breakfast available downstairs till 9am which is a little early to end breakfast considering checkout out isn't till 11. 3* for service due to the fact I felt I was inconveniencing the night desk receptionist arriving at 11.30pm for check in and disturbing whatever he was trying to watch on his tablet. I mixed up my booking and arrived at the hotel next door surestay I think it was called who figured out I was supposed to be next door in la quinta, if you can take next doors young man for your front desk with his cheery and welcoming attitude you would be on to a winner if not a few tips from him to help your current night porter become a bit more welcoming and inviting would help too.
