La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Selma/Smithfield I-95

This is our go to stop when traveling to GA from PA it's a great halfway stop to get rest. There is a lot to do around the area! All within 3-5 minutes away. We have stayed here a bunch of times. The service is great! The food is great!! And rooms are always clean! Only complaint we had this time was the people who decided to scream in the hallway after 10 pm need to learn a little respect. And the people who had the yappy dogs at 6 am. What did you do leave them in the hallway to bark? We have many times taken our dogs to this hotel and we do our very best to be mindful of the other guests who are staying too! Some people just don't have respect for others. But that is not the hotels fault. We will always stay here first!!

Great hotel. Very clean and safe. They provide a really good breakfast. Staff is friendly. Very close to the I-95. Previously I had pretty bad experience in hotels in this area. But this hotel completely changed my experience. If you are looking for a clean and safe hotel I will highly recommend this.

My wife and I usually stay at cheaper hotels and I'm glad we spent the extra money to stay at this LaQuinta location. We arrived at 2am and the hotel clerk, Patel, was very kind. Checking in was swift and shared a brief conversation before heading up. The hotel was clean and smelled nice. The furniture, lighting, art and bedding was nice. The bed was very comfy and relaxing. Im huge on shower pressure and it was great, water stayed hot for both of our showers. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. When I saw breakfast potatoes and sausage I lit. Made a great asiago bagel sandwich with two sausage, egg and philadelphia cream cheese. The young woman cooking/stocking kitchen was very personable and caring. Just stayed here for two nights while visiting family. Hotel is recently renovated and in like-new condition. The room and all of the common areas were exceptionally clean, and the maid service on our middle day did a great job. Breakfast was very well presented and prepared both days. Only drawback was - as mentioned elsewhere - you certainly can hear the hallway from about 7 AM. Which honestly works out fine to get moving in time for breakfast. Altogether an excellent value and relaxing stay.

Positive: The hotel is very modern and very very clean! The rooms are excellent and the beds are wonderfully comfortable.. far better than most other places that I have stayed at. Highly recommend this place overall! The breakfast area was well stocked and clean! Negative: Only sad part was that the pool was closed for the season other than that not a single complaint!
