Econo Lodge Selma - Smithfield

The stay was fine. Its not a bad place. There's not breakfast, but there is coffee. I didnt really look into the services. The price was average really for same night, everywhere was right around the same, but some had jet tubs for 15-20 more. The most notable part about this place for me, is if you dont have your card on you, or you've lost and haven't replaced it due to time constraints, this place takes tap to pay. Ill reiterate for those like me. They take tap to pay late at night, unlike alot of places in the area.

I was delayed by traffic while driving through a massive storm and the gentleman at the front desk allowed my reservation to be moved to the next day and even let me check in at 11am as I hadn't slept. Super nice people! Thanks so much for the rest! 😊🤙🏼

My brother who is active duty injured his back and was experiencing homelessness. I asked how much it would cost for two nights and they quoted me around 160. I then explained our situation and they lowered the price to 134. We requested non smoking (the room smelled of smoke). I was then charged an additional 60 dollars without my consent. I went in and explained again the situation and that I wanted a refund. They proceeded to ask me why he couldn't stay with me (he's allergic to cats and I have 2) and then proceeded to tell me that I was infected refunded when the charges were on my bank statement and there was no proof of them refunding me. They took advantage of a person who fought for our country and stole from his family. They refused to give us a refund. This is a shady establish

They are very rude and had to stay in a room for over 9 hours with no power because the breaker tripped and they said they didn't have a maintenance man to flip it back on then the next day they said we had to leave because I went to my friend's room to walk with her to the store because it was dark and the person at the office said I was selling drugs they are very unprofessional

First off room 235 was disgusting one of my 2 beds had Sand or Sugar all over it, the walls have holes in it with what looks like roach droppings. The toilet seat was hanging on by one hinge, the tub look like someone just got don’t brushing out their hair in it. The fridge wasn’t cold wasted my leftover from dinner. Just a horrible experience on and to top it off the stairs going to the top level had puke at the top and I booked in 4:30pm 9/8 - 7:00am 9/9 as seen in the photos horrible place would not recommend thinking about calling the corporate about getting it shut down
