La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Peru Starved Rock St Park

I’m sorry thought this place was pretty decent with part being. Quiet in the hallways. Seen some kind of bug on the floor didn’t think of it. Needed to stay at least until tonight. But left last night because I was so sick and my husband came up to the room and looked for bedbugs!! Yes your right BedBugs!! And another bug we even couldn’t identify. I called the front desk last night between 6-8pm. Told the guy working until 11 pm last night what I found and I told him he needs to either look at the room or do something and he said no we don’t have any bug. Of you find other reviews there others who say they had the same and the bites! He offered another room or the same room can be clean th done I was in and i was so grossed out the what we found because my husband was really not thinking

Great stay when our truck broke down. They were helpful with finding local resources for transportation in a small town where a rental car was not available. Clean and comfortable.

Positive: clean room. Negative: i asked for clean towels every day. i had to ask at front desk for items needed. the ac was hard to operate. did not stay at temp .

We were visiting from out of town meeting friends. The front desk clerk, an Indian male, was very kind. He let us use the breakfast area to eat together numerous times and cleaned up after us. I appreciate it when the staff is patient with families with kids. This place is near many businesses and places to eat and not too far away from the parks. Jeremiah Joe's is nearby for great coffee!

Me and my partner visited a week or two ago. We live within 20 minutes of the place so we did not really intend on staying the night. We were going to use the pool and hot tub, and come back in the morning to do the same. When we got there we realized the hot tub was shut down to get fixed. We were disappointed, but the desk people said it was posted on the website. We used Expedia to schedule the stay, and did not think to check the hotels website in addition to Expedia. Expedia did not say the hot tub was being repaired or anything. We went to the desk and asked the man if we could possibly do a refund so we could go elsewhere that day. He said unfortunately due to policies he couldn't do a refund or do anything about it. That all went fine and we weren't even angry or anything. He menti
