La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Naples Downtown

The staff was very professional and friendly. Thomas Iglesias, the general manager was wonderful to work with. It is not easy to host 2 youth football teams, and he and his staff were wonderful, flexible and caring. They make La Quinta a warm place to stay at, not just another hotel but the place to be with your family. Breakfast was very good, I loved having access to different brews of coffee, tea or hot cocoa during the day. Seating areas were great to relax and sit throughout the day. Very welcoming and great atmosphere. Thank you!!

The outside of the hotel was elegant. We ate at the Olive Garden right by the hotel. When we walked in there was a distinct smell of smoke although no one was smoking. The check in was fine - The elevator floor where we stayed was taped with scotch tape. The room however was very clean and we were satisfied with the internet. The next morning they were repairing the elevator and we needed to walk down the stairs with our bags. We were fine to carry them but if we were older it would have been problematic.,

Positive: The staff was very kind . Negative: There was roaches 🪳 in the hotel . I had to put the white towels in the floor to make sure I seen them crawl after killing 3 of them

Hotel is in a good location, and the staff was nice, but other than that, this was not the stay I would have preferred. The entire hotel had an unpleasant smell. The wall paper is peeling off in areas of the lobby. The elevator has a broken button that was taped. Our room was clean, but outdated and not ideal for multiple people. The bathroom consists of a shower and toilet. The sink is outside of that and was just a pedestal sink and not a vanity, so there was no where to put any of your toiletries. The beds were just okay. This hotel is in need of an update.

What you would expect from a typical 3 star hotel. Staff were friendly. House keeping did a great job. Aesthetically a little out dated with some minor cosmetic issues in the room. Breakfast wasn’t great. Basic selection but everything tasted very bland and of low quality. Coffee was terrible. According to the site hot tub was available - not accurate as it has been filled in. Walls were paper thin. We heard our next door neighbor’s dog bark several times and could hear their tv all night. Luckily the family we came to see lent us a sound machine otherwise we wouldn’t have slept much. Very comfortable bed though!
